Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge

Welcome blog hoppers! For those of you who don't know, it is time once again for Papertrey's blog hop challenge. The challenge this month was to use felt in some way. I took my inspiration for this challenge from the "touch and feel" books geared toward toddlers. Here is an example of a touch and feel book:As the cover of the book states, you can "pet" the animals in this book because parts of the animal are covered in some type of fabric or textile. I used Baby Button Bits to create my own touch and feel card.

I used the bear image and decided to have his tummy be the touch and feel part. It is easier if you die cut the circle first and then stamp the bear. I adhered the felt to the back of the sqare piece and used a dimensional sticker under the felt to pop the felt out of the circle a bit. It makes his tummy look nice and round. I finished off this card with a background stamp from Petal Power and a sentiment from Baby Button Bits. Thanks for hopping by!

Papertrey Ink-cardstock(vintage cream, kraft, dark chocolate), stamps (baby button bits, background basics-petal power), ribbon(sweet blush), button (vintage cream),felt(vintage cream).

Stampin Up-ink(chocolate chip),cardstock(pink pirouette)

Versamagic-ink(pixie dust)

Nestabilities, copics, twine, dimensional adhesive
