When I first saw the 72 & Sunny line by We R Memory Keepers, I thought it would be perfect to use with PTI's Scattered Showers and Scattered Showers Additions. The bright patterns are perfect for paper piecing the umbrellas and many of the word strips refer to weather. I have had this card desing in mind for weeks and finally executed it this weekend. I paper pieced the umbrella and stamped the sun so it looks like it is peeking out from behind the main panel. After I adhered the main panel I used pop-dots to adhere the clouds-it makes them look like they are floating across the card. I am so glad PTI came out with this cloud die because it works with so many sets. I hope there is plenty of sunshine in your life today! Thanks for stopping by.
Papertrey Ink-stamps (scattered showers, scattered showers additions), ink (true black, lemon tart), dies (clouds), cardstock (vintage cream, dark chocolate), tea dye duo
Stampin Up- ink (bermuda bay, so saffron), cardstock (real red, pumpkin pie, soft sky, kiwi kiss)
