My 8 year old daughter always asks about the cards I make and the challenges I enter. She is especially interested in the comments I get on my cards and has decided she would like to enter a challenge so she can receive comments, too.
She is playing along with the newest Lawnscaping challenge. Here is the challenge:
Here is the card she made for the challenge. She didn't use any Lawn Fawn sets, but she did come up with this card all on her own! She used Liquid Applique to add textured snow to her card. I did not help her in any way on this card except when it came time to use the heat gun--and she tried to do that on her own. She would love to hear what you think of her card. Thanks for stopping by!
(She took this picture of her card by herself, too!)

Very nice, Katie! Did you stamp the house on first and then apply the snow material? The bows at the top are a nice touch, too!
Great Job Katie! Looks just like last winter when we had all out snow. Remember?
Katie, what a great job you did, especially with the Liquid Applique! That can be tricky stuff! Your bows along the top are fabulous! We are so glad that you joined our challenge over at Lawnscaping! Wonderful, WONDERFUL job!
Wow, great job, Katie! Love your card. The "snow" was very clever! I hope you keep making cards and being crafty. You have a lot of talent.
Waa your daughter is so talented... Someday she will be a popular card maker *finger crossed, congrats dear.. :)
What a great job Katie! It is such a pretty house and the snow makes it even more beautiful. Too bad we don't get to see snow very often. My favorite part is the bow! It is perfect for this card. I hope you can continue to make cards. It is a great hobby and it is something you and your mom can do together which will make it even more fun! Can I come make cards, too? Love to you!
Awesome card! I love the ribbon & the snow!
