Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge: Designer Drafts

Here is the sketch we are working with this week:

Several ideas and points of inspiration came together in the creation of this card.  First, the sketch itself-I knew I wanted to recreate the arrow somehow.  Then, when I found these decorative tapes by Scotch,  I knew they would be the perfect thing to use!  They are not washi tapes.  They are more like regular tape, but in fun colors and they are repositionable (very helpful when you are trying to make an arrow!).  Because the tapes are bright, almost neon colors, I thought this would make a fun teen card.   I added the lockers and note from Teen Routine and then used the thought bubble (He Said, She Said), and "What's Up" (Good Gab) to create a fun sentiment that goes along with the arrow theme. Do you remember writing notes in junior high and using arrows in place of the word up when asking "what's up"? I do!-Haha!  The thought bubble is popped up using dimensional adhesive, but because of the graphic element of the arrow and the bright colors, I kept the rest of the card pretty simple.

What inspires you about this sketch?  We would love for you to play along with this challenge!  Make sure to stop by the Paper Smooches Sparks blog and show us what you make!  The winner of the challenge receives a $30 store credit to the Paper Smooches online store!  Also, be sure to check out what the rest of the design team made using this sketch:
