Just Chillin'

This is the first layout I have done in a very long time. I like scrapbooking, but mostly I am a card maker. Why? Because cards are a smaller scale and less permanent. I have so many photos I love, but can't decide exactly how I want to scrap them. Cosmo Cricket is one of my favorite companies and I have a lot of their papers, chipboard, rubons, etc. The problem is, I tend to hold onto them rather than actually use them. So, I decided this week to play along with their sketch...actually scrap a photo....actually use some of those hoarded supplies... and it was a lot of fun. I decided to do an 8x8, so I had to take some liberties with the sketch to fit everything on the page. I do like how it turned out, though.

This is a photo I took of my daughter last month. It had just started to snow, and she was trying to catch snowflakes on her tongue. We don't get much snow here in the south, and I am originally from the north, so I love to see my children having fun in the snow. I am so glad I played along this week and scrapped this photo!
