Wedding Cake

Today I have a wedding card to share. This is also a card I submitted for Papertrey's February Guest Star Stamper contest. I used the cake from PTI's Piece of Cake stamp set. I then decided to add some trim so I used one of the tiny border images from Wedding Day. I had to make a reverse mask (I stamped the cake on scrap paper and then used a craft knife to cut out each layer) because the stamp is longer than each of the cake layers. I then added the flower and leaves on top of the cake from Out on a Limb. The sentiment is from Wishing You. All stamp sets, cardstock, and patterned paper are from Papertrey Ink. The ribbon and black epoxy stickers are from Hobby Lobby. I also made this same card in brown, olive green, and pumpkin for a friend's fall wedding.

Great colors. I love how you "decorated" the cake. First time I've been to your blog - all of these cakes and cupcakes are making me hungry!
