Lawnscaping Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Lawnscaping Blog Hop! I'm so happy you could stop by today! You should have come to me by way of Melissa Shea's blog. If not, you can start at the beginning over at the Lawnscaping Challenge blog.

This month's theme is all about Spring! The hop runs from Friday, April 6th - Sunday, April 8th! Now sit back and relax and be prepared to be inspired. We have lots of designers on this hop so we want to make sure you have time to see them all! You have the whole weekend to hop along.... Make sure to comment on all of the blogs because there are LOTS of prizes to be won! All the details can be found on the Lawnscaping home page.

For my spring card, I chose to make an "April showers bring May flowers" card. Here it is:

I used several Lawn Fawn stamp sets for this card. I used the postcard from You've Got Mail, the fence and lamb (made into a cloud) from Critters on the Farm, the moon (used as the sun) from Happy Haunting, the flash lines from Say Cheese for the sun's rays, and I used the raindrops, grass, tulips, and bee from the Gnome Sweet Gnome set . The bee might just be my favorite element of the card. I stamped him on some shrinky dink paper and shrunk down with my heat gun-now he is the perfect size for my card! (The sentiment is Papertrey Ink and the patterned paper is by October Afternoon.)

Next head on over to Eve's blog. If you've gotten off track, don't worry! Head on back to Lawnscaping to see the complete list of the hop participants and prize information!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!

What a creative idea for the stamps you used! I love ideas for using stamps for other than the original intention. It never occurred to me to heat shrinkydinks with a heat gun. How brilliant! (And I love that postcard stamp!)
